Boot Hill Museum & Front Street is a historically reconstructed area that allows visitors a peek in to the wild past of one of history's most famous cities - Dodge City. Visitors to the area can enjoy a chuckwagon dinner, the Long Branch Variety Show and a recreated shootout on Front Street. The museum building contains displays on various eras of regional history, including Native American life, the building of the railroad and the Victorian period, as well as the Kansas Cowboy Hall of Fame, which inducts only five new members annually. The historic stretch is located north of Wright Park, in central Dodge City.
Open late May - mid-Aug: daily, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.; mid-Aug - late May: Mon. - Sat., 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Adults $7-$8; Seniors and Students $6.50-$7.50, Children 6 and under are free.
