The Carnegie Center for the Arts is used as a gallery and performance space for local artists and theatre companies. Constructed in 1907, the building was originally a library funded by famed philanthropist Andrew Carnegie during his project that ultimately resulted in the creation of 1,679 libraries across the nation. The center is located two blocks north of historic Front Street, which features the Boot Hill Museum.
